'While the loudest, most apparent voice present in media may be that of the writer, news anchor or photographer, the most powerful is the gained voice' - Big Think
Who gets to decide what's important?
History is filtered sometimes and heavily censored across the world. Epistemology is the theory of knowledge and the minds' relation to reality. It explores the relationship between knowledge, truth, belief, reason, evidence and reliability. This should be encouraged through wider communities.
There are many psychological routes to knowledge; considering the nature of the known reality. Everyone can possess knowledge in any way, shape or form and it can be achieved through any method. Each person throughout history is accountable for the present, like a chain reaction.
So how well do we know the past?
What if we could time travel?
How architecture can help build communities:
Linking with accountability, the community and its involvement is equally as important especially within architecture and design.
A community can be described as a group of people living in the same place or having a particular characteristic in common. Different types of communities are formed dependent on the personality of the people, location of the area and the aims that community wants to achieve. Involving these communities is vital to successful design.
Overall, history changes every day and everyone can change it within a moments notice. However, it is vital that as much history from the past is known throughout the general population to widen knowledge of our ancestors and future generations to come. Without history, who will we be? What would we have become if history hadn't played out exactly as it has now?
